(no subject)

I went out to get a new slip, the kind that's sort of like bloomers, knee length cause i like to wear them under a skirt in the summer. Easier on the legs if ya know what i mean. I forget to take the gift certificate i had. And i ended up spending 75 dollars on three tank tops (two really long ones, orange, black, and one shorter one burgundy), some new knickers and a pair of bike shorts because they didn't have the slip i wanted. They work under a skirt or dress just as well.

Bought a few 5x7 canvases to have around too. I like the little ones, they do up fairly fast and are nice size for presents. I still have a larger canvas too. Stay tuned :)

Picked up a few groceries to last me a few days and here i sit, watching the fog gather outside. I always think of that line from a poem (Carl Sandburg?) about the fog creeping in on little cat feet. I woke up yesterday morning very early and glanced at the window and i couldn't see a thing, just a wall of white through the part in the curtains. I looked out and the fog was really really thick. Everything was blurred. When i got back up a few hours later it had burned off and was clear and sunny.

Doing the laundry now and some of that will be packed over the weekend. I'll just wear the dregs and unfavourite stuff before i leave.

4 more days until liftoff Rar!!! 10 more days until i get to Manchester to see my sweetie, gramie_dee. He keeps threatening to explode with anticipation before i get there. ;o) Pace yourself hon! I'm nearly packed!

oh yeah..I drove to work in that wall of fog..in the dark..yuck! Walked in it too..my hair frizzed up and I was chilled for an hour!

it's not reawlly a new hairdo. she dried it the same way as in the pic on my webpage but i will mostly be styling it the same way as usual. There's just more highlights now.

Personally Di, I think I'd be wiping out my schedule for when I was in England, and leaving all that time for G. Sounds like you're gonna have all the fun you can handle once you two get together, and just let fate decide how you spend each day....

Well... i have a lot of plans already set up and people to meet before i get to Gra's. I have so many good friends over there and i do want to catch up with everyone. Next visit is all his :)
